‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Explains Pregnancy Rumors, Baby Bump Speculation

“Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans wants everyone to know she’s not pregnant. For the second time, the MTV star has responded to rumors she’s not having a third baby.

Jenelle posted a photo of herself sporting a bikini on Instagram Friday, saying she loves the way her body looks even if her recent physique has sparked speculation she’s expecting. “I love my body for the way it is. Once again, not pregnant,” she wrote. Jenelle, 24, went on to explain she’s simply gained weight because she’s happy in her relationship with boyfriend David Eason.

“Yes, I’ve gained weight, healthy weight. This [is] what happened when you are truly happy in life and in a healthy relationship,” she said. Despite being happy at her current size, Jenelle said she is looking to get back into working out.

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report Jenelle was rumored to be pregnant. Last week the site said there was talk on-set of the “Teen Mom 2” Season 7 reunion taping last month that Jenelle was pregnant and producers were “freaking out” about the possibility. The site also cited a photo of the reality star sporting what seemed to be a “full-on baby bump” at a Target near her hometown as evidence.

“Nope, not pregnant,” Jenelle tweeted May 13 in response to the piece. “Sorry to burst your bubble.” Despite Jenelle’s denial after the story was published, the Ashley said all of its show sources “are telling her that Jenelle is pregnant.”

While Jenelle denies she’s with child, she hasn’t made it a secret she’s open to having another baby someday. During an appearance on “The Doctors” in March she was advised to go off of her current birth control in order to calm the laundry list of symptoms she was having. Jenelle responded by saying she would need to speak to David about other birth control methods, as they did not want another child for at least one year.

“I’m not really about getting pregnant anytime soon,” she said.

If Jenelle is pregnant, it will be her first with David, who has a daughter from a previous relationship. Jenelle welcomed son Jace with then-boyfriend Andrew Lewis in 2009. Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, currently has full custody of the 6-year-old. Jenelle and ex Nathan Griffith had son Kaiser in June 2014.
