‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Invites MTV Cameras To Her Wedding, Not Her Co-Stars

Jenelle Evans is said to be making a short guest list for her fall nuptials. It has been reported that the “Teen Mom 2” star likely isn’t inviting her co-stars to her big day with David Eason, though MTV’s cameras are said to have been given the go-ahead to film.

Jenelle’s longtime “Teen Mom 2” co-stars, Leah Messer, Kail Lowry and Chelsea Houska, should not expect an invitation to Jenelle and David’s Sept. 23 wedding, reports The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. Another person not on the guest list? The site reports Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, has also been denied.

While the number of attendees may be small, MTV’s camera crew will be present for the affair. “The festivities will be filmed for ‘Teen Mom 2,’” the site confirms.

Jenelle previously spoke out about her plans for her big day, telling E! she was aiming for an “elegant” and “backyard rustic theme,” something she and David both agreed upon. “We both have similar tastes so we agree on a lot already,” she dished in March.

While Jenelle stated at the time that they would get married in a church before partying at their reception in a nearby area, The Ashley reports that the wedding will take place at David and Jenelle’s property in North Carolina.

With only two months to go until her big day, Jenelle appears to be elated to be marrying David. “I’m ready to make my life forever with you,” she posted to Instagram on Saturday. Her update included a shot of her and David kissing on a fence, which also revealed their wedding date. David shared a similar photo on his Instagram, writing, “Love binds us together in perfect unity.”

A wedding isn’t the only exciting event Jenelle has coming up. Her book “Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom,” which is co-written by Tonia Brown, debuts on July 25. Jenelle has promised the memoir will show an “up close and personal” look at the “REAL Jenelle.”

“Jenelle Evans shares the raw emotional stories of her youth that helped shape the woman she has become, all drawn from her childhood diary,” the book’s synopsis reads. “Everyone thinks they know her, but what the audience can’t see runs deeper than what is left on the editing room floor.”

According to E!’s review, the story will touch on Jenelle’s 15 romantic relationships, her first experience with drugs, issues with her mother, David’s marriage proposal and more.

Of course, Jenelle is also starring in the newest season of “Teen Mom 2.” The docuseries kicks off on July 17, and according to MTV’s premiere synopsis, it’s going to one dramatic installment.

Fans will see a “sudden move” that “tests Jenelle and David’s relationship.” It won’t be all drama for the pair, though. The trailer reveals Jenelle and David will welcome their daughter Ensley in the episodes, and viewers will also get to see David’s marriage proposal.

“Teen Mom 2” returns to MTV on Monday, July 17, at 9 p.m. EDT.
