‘Teen Mom OG’ Canceled Or Renewed? Farrah Abraham Shares Big Hint On Twitter
MTV viewers were reintroduced to the network’s original “Teen Moms” in March when the series was rebooted and renamed “Teen Mom OG.” Despite the series' return receiving high ratings, it was unclear if Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell would return for another installment or if the show would be canceled.
Well, rest easy “Teen Mom OG” fans because rumor has it the original girls of the hit docuseries are coming back! Several outlets are reporting the program will be returning to airwaves.
The Ashley Reality Roundup was the first to share the news on Monday night that “Teen Mom OG” has been renewed for another season, reporting the series “is definitely coming back.” The site claims two sources close to the show’s production shared the news about Season 6.
MTV has yet to make the official announcement, but that hasn’t stopped the show’s stars from teasing the rumored new installment. In recent weeks, Farrah has shared several shots of herself posing with the series’ crew on social media. Over July Fourth weekend Farrah partied with her producer Heather Walsh.
On Saturday, she posted two photos from her trip to Anchorage, Alaska, with her daughter Sophia. In the one shot a camera man is clearly present.
While it appears at least one of the “Teen Mom OG” stars will be returning, it’s unknown if Maci will let her two children star on the program. Viewers will remember in Season 5 when Maci pulled her son Bentley from the show after producers told her Farrah would be co-starring. It’s unknown if Maci will let her 1-month-old daughter Jayde be filmed.
