‘Teen Mom’ Star Maci Bookout Hopes To Be Engaged Soon, ‘Confused’ Why Boyfriend Taylor McKinney Hasn’t Proposed Yet

If "Teen Mom OG" star Maci Bookout has her way, she'll be getting a diamond ring soon. The 24-year-old mom of two opened up about her and boyfriend Taylor McKinney's relationship and revealed her desire for him to pop the question.

"It's to the point where I'm like, 'Really what is the deal?'" the MTV star told Us Weekly Tuesday. "Marriage is something I want in my life."

Bookout, who shares seven-month old daughter Jayde Carter with McKinney, went on to say that she feels like they're already married since they live together and have been dating for three years.

"So it's kind of like, 'All right, what are we waiting on?' I'm confused," she said.

Even though McKinney hasn't proposed to Bookout yet, it doesn't mean getting engaged is not on his mind. In the Season 5 finale of "Teen Mom OG," the 26-year-old was seen shopping for an engagement ring.

As previously reported, Bookout opened up about McKinney telling Us Weekly in September that he was a great father to their baby girl.

"Taylor has taken to fatherhood wonderfully," she said. “He’s actually changed quite a few poppy diapers.”

She also said her son Bentley, now 7, whom she shares with ex Ryan Edwards, is an excellent big brother.

"He just crawled into bed and was petting her. It was the sweetest thing in the world to me,” she recalled.

Maci Bookout and her co-stars Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood will all return for Season 6 of "Teen Mom OG." The new season is set to premiere Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at 10 p.m. EST on MTV.
