Teen Stabs Mother Multiple Times For Asking Her To Find Summer Job
A teen girl was charged with stabbing her mother with a knife during an argument. The incident took place in Taichung, Taiwan, on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old unidentified victim asked her 15-year-old daughter to take up a part-time job during her summer vacation. The woman also said she would help the girl find the right job. However, the girl refused and the two got into an argument. Suddenly, the fight got physical and the unidentified girl took a knife from the kitchen and slashed her mother. When the woman tried running away, she was stabbed in the neck and back multiple times.
The woman somehow managed to escape and ran to a nearby shop to seek help. The shop owner wrestled the girl and managed to get the knife out of her hand. The victim was then rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. CCTV footage showed the girl chasing her mother with the weapon on the streets.
Meanwhile, doctors said the woman was conscious when she arrived but had several cuts to the left side of her body including the neck and upper arm. The victim reportedly underwent a blood transfusion and was listed stable.
The woman’s daughter was taken into custody and during interrogation, she looked impassive about what happened. She was charged with attempt to murder in juvenile court. The knife was confiscated and the investigation was ongoing.
Neighbors said the girl lived with her mother and grandparents after her parents got divorced when she was very young. The girl’s sister lived with her father.
