There’s nothing like a little jealousy to separate a pack. The two-night premiere event for “Teen Wolf” Season 5 will continue on Tuesday, and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) will be very suspicious of the new wolf in town, Theo (Cody Christian). In Monday’s premiere episode, Theo wanted to join Scott’s (Tyler Posey) pack, and it looks like Stiles might want to talk the Alpha out of that in episode 2. A sneak-peek video shows that Stiles has already started investigating the new kid.

In the clip, Stiles tells Malia (Shelley Hennig) that Theo’s dad has a speeding ticket. People who are going fast are obviously trying to get away from something. Malia asks Stiles how many tickets he would have if his dad weren’t the Sheriff. He'd have about 17. Yet Malia doesn’t think Stiles’s concern is wrong.

“I mean, I see why you’re worried,” Malia says. “He’s really hot. He’s got, like, great hair, perfect body. You should definitely feel threatened.”

“Thank you, ‘cause I do now more than ever,” Stiles tells his girlfriend.

Clearly, Malia isn’t interested in Theo. She offers to torture him, which Stiles turns down, but Malia assures him she could take the werewolf down. Her boyfriend feels like he has a legitimate plan though.

“We get the story, verify the facts, find the piece that doesn’t fit and catch him in the act,” Stiles says. “That’s how you do it.”

Malia questions his distrust. After all, Theo went to elementary school with him and Scott. He isn’t a complete stranger. “I remember Theo from fourth grade, okay?” Stiles says. “That’s not Theo.”
