‘Teen Wolf’ Season 6 Spoilers: Where Is Stiles? Dylan O’Brien Returns In Episode 5 [RECAP]
“Teen Wolf” finally showed the missing pack member. Stiles disappeared in the premiere after the Ghost Riders took him, but his whereabouts were revealed in Season 6, episode 5. He isn’t alone, but he definitely isn’t in Beacon Hills.
Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) is in a train station filled with people. Some of them are the ones Lydia (Holland) has seen in her visions. They all seem to be staring into space, except Stiles. No one knows why they’re at the train station or how long they’ve been there. Everyone gets up to get onto a train, and Stiles asks where the train is heading. It’s not a train that’s coming though. It’s the Ghost Riders. Everyone is in a panic, and Stiles suddenly runs into Peter (Ian Bohen).
All of the waiting people suddenly calm down after the Ghost Riders pass. They all just sit back down, and Peter wants Stiles to leave him alone. Stiles reminds Peter that he didn’t come here on his own. He was in Eichen House.
The power went out, and Peter took an opportunity to leave. Flashbacks show him carving a spiral into the floor. The blackout happened when Malia (Shelley Hennig) and Kira (Arden Cho) were trying to help save Lydia in Season 5, his door opened and he left. With the guards fighting other patients, he didn’t attract too much attention. He easily took out the one man that noticed. However, Peter suddenly confronted the Ghost Riders after he left. Then he ended up in this train station.
Stiles tells Peter that he’s been gone for about three months. Peter is appalled that no one noticed, but Stiles explains it’s the Ghost Riders. Peter recognizes the name. He realizes there is no escaping, especially since they aren’t in a real place. “Beacon Hills doesn’t have a train station,” Peter notes.
Still, they search for escape routes. Peter breaks a lock off a door, and Stiles goes through just to find himself coming into the same room through another door.
Stiles and Peter confront some guy who is watching them. The new guy says that they should go through the tunnel that the Ghost Riders came through. For some reason, neither of them noticed it. They can’t force themselves through. They have to push and pull each other.
While Peter is convinced that no one will ever remember them, Lydia is desperate to convince others that Stiles is real. At school, she sees Stiles’ Jeep being towed since it’s an abandoned vehicle. She runs out of class to stop it, and Scott (Tyler Posey) follows. They have to give all their cash to the man running the tow truck.
Back at the train station, Stiles, Peter and the random kid go through the tunnel, and they hide behind a column as the Ghost Riders come through. The villains travel through sort of portal they create, but the new guy is convinced that they can jump on the back of the horses to go through. Stiles thinks it’s a bad plan, but the guy is determined. Peter pulls Stiles back from stopping the risk taker. He jumps onto a horse, but he disintegrates into a green dust as the Rider goes through the portal.
Peter is convinced that they’re stuck forever. “Do you get it? We don’t exist, and we are already forgotten,” Peter says. Stiles still believes the pack will find him, though.
They return to the station. Stiles looks at the intercom when the next cancellation announcement is made. He follows the wires to discover another room. Stiles thinks a magnetic disturbance on a radio might be used to connect with his friends.
Scott and Malia hear something that leads them to the Jeep. Lydia is already there and knows that the noise is coming from the radio in Stiles’ car. However, Peter suddenly pulls a bunch of cords when he hears Ghost Riders coming. The pack doesn’t understand why the noise stopped, but Scott suddenly gets a scent. He knows they’ve all been in this car despite having no memory of it.
Lydia goes through the glove compartment, and the registration doesn’t have a name. The address, however, is the Stilinskis’ house. The Sheriff (Linden Ashby) and Claudia (Joey Honsa) say that the car was stolen 18 years ago. There is no way to figure out how it got to the high school. The adults tell Lydia she has taken this a little too far.
However, Lydia isn’t in this alone. When the tow truck tries to take Stiles’ car again, it isn’t Lydia who stops him. Malia rips the hook off the truck.
Meanwhile, The Ghost Riders run through the station again. This time, they bring a lacrosse player. It’s Gwen (Alisha Boe), who reunites with her sister.
Peter seems to have a change of heart. He is getting out. He decides he can get through the portal since he is a werewolf. He says he might tell Stiles’ friends one day if it doesn’t inconvenience him. Stiles knows he is risking this for Malia, though. He needs to get back to his daughter.
Peter gets on one of the horses and goes through the portal, but it isn’t easy. He falls into Beacon Hills with some serious burns. He lets out a howl, and everyone in town can hear it. Malia feels like it’s a familiar sound. She and Scott run into the woods to find a barbecued body. They don’t know who he is or how he got there. Peter opens his eyes, and finally, Malia remembers her biological father.
Scott and Malia both take away some of his pain, and Malia finds a set of keys in his fist. It’s the keys to Stiles’ car. Lydia tries them and discovers that they indeed drive the Jeep. While they investigate, Stiles goes back to the radio. “Hello? Is anyone there? Can anyone hear me?” Stiles asks.
They can hear him loud and clear. Stiles asks Lydia if she can remember his final words to her the night he was taken. “You said, ‘Remember I love you,’” Lydia tells him. Stiles tells them that they have to “find Canaan” before the line disconnects.
