Casey Starchak and Ashley Howland will finally reunite during Thursday night’s “Temptation Island” Season 2 finale. And while viewers have watched Ashley form a connection with single Ben Knobloch during the season of the USA Network series, Casey is apparently only prepared for one possible outcome to their final bonfire meetup.

In a sneak peek of this week’s upcoming conclusion, Casey is seen meeting with host Mark L. Walberg before his reconciliation with Ashley. “I’m feeling the happiest I’ve ever felt and the most terrified I’ve ever felt,” he explains.

When Mark says he’s likely thought about what he plans to say to Ashley when they see each other, Casey says he’s considered it “once or twice” or “a million times.” Viewers will remember that Casey purchased a ring for Ashley during his overnight date with Rachel Hamel in the hopes of proposing to his girlfriend. The sneak peek seems to hint that his plan to propose is still in place.

“And you know there are several possible outcomes here. Are you prepared for all of those?” Mark asks. Casey responds by shaking his head no, saying, “I’m only prepared for the one outcome.”

While Casey and Ashley have yet to publicly reveal their relationship status, spoiler blogger Reality Steve did give a little insight into the finale late last month. In a podcast, he stated that there would be an “equivalent” breakup to “Temptation Island” Season 1 star Kaci Campbell, who was dumped by her longtime boyfriend for another contestant on the show.

“I don’t think it is far-fetched to figure out who they might be,” he teased of who will be involved.
