Errol Spence Jr. is coming off a split decision win over Shawn Porter recently, although pundits feel that the 29-year-old was a bit sloppy and did not deserve the win and the WBC belt. One boxer who feels this way is Terence Crawford.

In a report from TMZ Sports, Crawford felt that Porter should have won the fight. And it appears he is ready to back up his claim, calling out Spence for what could potentially be a big fight in the making.

"It was a close fight. Don't get me wrong. I wouldn't say it was a big-time robbery. But, it was a close fight and if I had to give anybody the victory, I think Shawn deserved it," he said.

The 32-year-old Crawford is considered one of the best pound-for-pound boxers today while Spence is also a Top 10 PFP fighter. According to Bud, he has been trying to arrange a fight with Spence but the camp of the latter always had an excuse. For him, the real reason is that Spence Jr. knows he'll lose.

"I honestly believe when it comes to him ... deep down in his heart, he knows what he's up against when he goes up against me," he said.

It comes to no surprise that Spence wants to face Manny Pacquiao next. Ironically, Crawford has at times also been mentioned as an ideal opponent for the Filipino boxing icon. As of this writing, there is nothing definite if the eight-time division champion has either fighter on his list of next opponents.

"I mean, he's a Hall of Famer, he's a legend, he's fought the best fighters of my era and the past era," said Spence prior to his split decision win over Porter via TMZ Sports.

A Spence vs. Crawford showdown will undoubtedly be a megafight boxing fans would love to see. Unfortunately, there are some obstacles that stand in the way. Crawford is under Bob Arum while Spence is handled by Al Haymon. Both don't usually make fights together although they made the Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight work.

One bright spot here is that a Spence vs. Crawford fight could draw in big revenue. And most know that if a mega bout is profitable, Arum and Haymon are bound to find a way to make it work.
