Teresa Giudice made a shocking move during her debut performance on "Dancing With the Stars" Season 31 Monday, and she said she did it for her fans.
While dancing to Rihanna's "We Found Love" with pro dance partner Pasha Pashkov on the season premiere, the 50-year-old reality star flipped a table halfway through the routine. The move was reminiscent of a chaotic "Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 1 finale scene where Giudice flipped an entire dinner table full of food.
After her performance, Giudice spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the surprising gesture and shared that she simply paid homage to the reality series by reenacting the scene.
However, the mother of four admitted that she was hesitant to do it at first after being informed by their creative team about the table-flipping move.
"At first I know I was like, I didn't know if I wanted to do it. [But then], I'm like, 'You know what? I know my fans are gonna love it,'" she said. "I did it for them. And this time I did it with a smile on my face."
Giudice also lauded her 36-year-old dance partner, who has been very supportive. "I have an amazing partner and, yeah, I couldn't have asked for a better partner," she said.
Pashkov quickly reciprocated the praise by saying, "Listen, I think I have the best partner. We clicked from the very beginning. It's super easy communication."
Ahead of the season premiere, Giudice already received a lot of support from her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, and some of her pals from the "Real Housewives" franchise.
Joe, also 50, has been urging his followers on Instagram to vote for his ex-wife, prompting many fans to thank him for supporting his ex despite their divorce.
Meanwhile, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Cynthia Bailey, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Garcelle Beauvais and Giudice's "RHONJ" co-star Jennifer Aydin wished her luck a day before the show premiered.
Other stars competing in this season of the reality dance competition are Charli D'Amelio, Wayne Brady, Selma Blair, Vinny Guadagnino, Daniel Durant, Jessie James Decker, Jordin Sparks and many more.
"Dancing With the Stars" Season 31 is exclusively streaming on Disney+.
