Teresa Giudice Prays To Be Released From Prison In ‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey Teresa Checks In’ Trailer

Teresa Giudice is still in prison, but her family is getting their own Bravo special. “Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Checks In” will update audiences on what’s happening with the Giudices since their matriarch went to prison for fraud.

Teresa Giudice started her prison sentence on Jan. 5, leaving her four daughters in the care of her husband, Joe Giudice, until her December release. Though he has been taking care of the girls, as soon as Teresa gets out, he’ll have to start a 41-month prison sentence. The “RHONJ” spinoff shows Joe having some difficulty.

“He’s, like, pretty good,” their daughter Gia Giudice, 14, says. “He helps out. He tries his best, but I mean, like, it’s rough without my mom.”

Joe Giudice, 43, has taken on all the jobs that his wife used to cover. He is shown cooking and brushing his daughters’ hair. He also tries to keep Milania Giudice, 9, out of trouble and boys away from Gia.

While “Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Checks In” will highlight some of the lighter moments of Joe Giudice’s troubles, it will also address his serious legal issues. After he serves his sentence, he’ll face the possibility of deportation. “If, God forbid, you had to go, do you see Teresa and the girls moving to Italy with you?” someone asks him. His answer isn’t shown.

Though Teresa Giudice doesn’t physically appear in the trailer for the three-part special, she manages to make her presence felt. “It’s amazing how she still controls everything from in there, you know what I mean?” Joe Giudice says.

As previously reported, the mother of four still calls her family from the Danbury, Connecticut, prison. She even prays with them. “Oh, please God, bring me home to my family as soon as possible,” she says. “And bless my four daughters and my husband. Amen.”

Teresa Giudice won’t physically appear in person in her family’s spinoff, but she will return to reality TV after she is released. She has been confirmed as a cast member of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 7.
