Teresa Giudice paid tribute to her fiancé Luis “Louie” Ruelas on social media amid the concerns her “Real Housewives of New Jersey” co-stars raised about the businessman on the reality show.
On Wednesday, Giudice, 49, took to Instagram to share a black and white photo of her and Ruelas, 46, taken from their recent date in New York City. In the snap, the pair flashed smiles while posing side by side.
“You are my everything. Thank you for coming into my life,” Joe Giudice’s ex-wife wrote in the caption.
The snap was Giudice’s response to Ruelas’ Instagram post from earlier this week that featured an adorable picture showing the two of them laughing while conversing during their date night.
Ruelas referenced Bobby Vinton’s 1969 single in his caption that read, “To know you is to love you.”
The lovely interaction between the couple came amid the tense drama involving their co-stars on the Bravo reality show. In the latest episode of the series, some of Giudice’s co-stars continued to question Ruelas’ past.
In one scene, Margaret Josephs talked to her mom, Marge Sr., about a bombshell allegation that emerged on social media against the entrepreneur. According to her, there was a rumor that Ruelas hit his ex-partner in front of her children, People reported.
The husbands of Giudice’s co-stars also heard of the issue and discussed it over drinks in the episode. Margaret’s husband, Joe Benigno, brought up the allegation to the group, saying, “He supposedly smacked around his girlfriend in front of her kids.”
When Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, heard of the issue, he admitted in a confessional that he did not know what to believe anymore. He also acknowledged that his sister seemed unbothered by the allegations thrown at her husband-to-be.
“Your sister’s in la la land. When you’re in love like she is, you’re blind to everything around you,” Benigno told Gorga.
The drama involving Ruelas on the show prompted Teresa’s fans to voice their support for the couple on her latest Instagram post. Many of them encouraged the “RHONJ” star not to mind the criticisms.
“I feel for Louie!! [The] witches keep coming for him before we ever got to know him. Enjoy being in love. You deserve it,” one wrote.
“Enjoying the show, of course… but it’s hard watching Louie being hazed and judged in every episode. I’m looking forward to that ending,” another commented.
Giudice and Ruelas, who got engaged in October, have kids from their previous relationships. Ruelas has two sons, Louie Jr. and Nicholas. Meanwhile, Giudice shares four daughters with ex Joe — Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12.
