Gia Guidice broke her silence about the family feud involving her mom, Teresa Giudice, and uncle Joe Gorga.
Gia, 21, is still in contact with her mom's only sibling, uncle Joe. Gia admitted at the BravoCon 2022 that she used to be closer with Joe, who is also her godfather, and his wife, Melissa Gorga. Despite her mom's falling-out with the Gorgas, she's still on speaking terms with them. But their communication line is not as frequent.
"We don't really talk as much now, but it's OK. I'm sure we'll move forward somehow," she said Friday, Page Six reported. "I texted my uncle for [his] birthday just out of respect — and for the holidays. He texted back just like, 'Thank you.'"
Gia added that she doesn't want her mom and uncle's family drama to get in between her and her three cousins with Joe and Melissa. She clarified that she and her cousins remain good.
"Honestly, the biggest thing I want is for whatever happens between them to not affect my cousins and I," she continued. "[What happens] between my mom and uncle, that's between them. My cousins and I are good. We still talk here and there. We're good."
Teresa and ex-husband Joe Giudice share four daughters — Gia, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13. Melissa and Joe share daughter Antonia, 17, and sons, Gino, 15, and Joey, 12.
"I kind of stayed behind the scenes with what was happening between my mom and my uncle," Gia added. "It's just about [seeing] our side on a more personal level, and I think that's really what the fans are going to see."
Joe also spoke about his relationship with his nieces at the same event. He confirmed that there is no animosity between him and Teresa's daughters.
"We text. And listen, my nieces are my nieces. I love them, and there is no animosity toward them. If they choose to let me in their life, I'm there. I've watched them all from babies, and I love them. There's no hard feelings," he explained.
He also addressed the feud with his sister. According to Joe, he was tired of talking about the issue for over a decade since their Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" premiered in 2009. He wanted to focus on the things he was grateful for.
"At this point, I just don't know what else to say. I'm tired. I'm tired of talking about this for 13 years," he said.
"I'm 48 years old, and I'm happy that I woke up this morning and happy that I have healthy kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful life, and I just want to be happy, man," he continued. "This kind of drama is ruining my life."
