Teresa Giudice’s Eldest Daughter Gia Slammed For Spring Formal Look: ‘Too Much Makeup’

Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter Gia Giudice got criticized for wearing too much makeup for her school’s spring formal.

On Wednesday, the 49-year-old reality star showcased her 21-year-old daughter’s look for the event via Instagram. She shared a snap of Gia standing on a porch wearing a yellow-green dress with a full-glam look on.

“My baby at her spring formal,” Teresa captioned her post.

However, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star did not get the response she was hoping for. A number of her followers called Gia out for wearing too much makeup. Some even claimed that she’s gotten a lot of fillers as well.

“Too much makeup,” one wrote.

“It’s actually too much fillers. She’s getting the cosmetic surgery addiction like her mom,” another claimed.

“She [doesn’t] need all this makeup. Blame her mom,” a third user commented.

Gia shared the same snap on her Instagram page a few days prior, saying she was a “happy girl” on her way to Rutgers University-New Brunswick’s spring formal. She also credited the people who helped her with her hair, makeup and dress in the post.

Even on her own post, she received criticism for her evening look. Several Instagram users pointed out to her that she looked better with less makeup.

“Gia, [you] are naturally gorgeous! [You] don’t need all that makeup,” one fan commented.

“Too much makeup, you are prettier with less,” a different user wrote.

Meanwhile, many of her fans stood by her amid the backlash. They encouraged the young reality star to pay the critics no mind.

“You do YOU! Wear what you want! People’s opinions blah blah blah!! #stayhappysunshine,” a fan commented on her post.

“You look absolutely gorgeous with your makeup!! Just beautiful! Do what you like, and if you feel good in it, wear it,” another fan added.

“[Oh my god], Gia is gorgeous. Her makeup is gorgeous. Leave her alone,” a different fan stated.

Teresa and Gia have been spending a lot of time together lately since the controversial matriarch’s other daughters — Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12 — have chosen to vacation in Nassau, the Bahamas, to be with their dad, Joe Giudice, 49.

The three girls spent the Easter holidays with their father. Joe proudly showed off a photo taken from their Easter dinner date as a family in the city. The former Bravo star also uploaded clips showing his daughters having a great time with their cousins from Italy.
