Teresa Giudice’s Husband Joe Lashed Out At Wife And Kids Before Prison Departure In Latest ‘RHONJ’ Episode [RECAP]

Monday’s episode of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (RHONJ) proved to be an interesting watch for fans of Teresa Giudice and her family. 41-year-old Joe Giudice, Teresa’s husband, was clearly not handling his imminent departure to prison well in order to serve his 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.

The father of four girls seemed to be in a bad mood during his final month at home, frequently lashing out at his wife and kids during a special episode of “RHONJ” that aired on Labor Day on Sept. 5.

“We only have a few weeks left together and I know Joe is unraveling,” Teresa revealed during the episode, “I can see it. He is drinking more. He does have mood swings. He’s just not dealing with it well.” During one heated argument between the husband and wife, Joe told her to “shut the f--- up.”

However, the soon-to-be incarcerated husband of Teresa Giudice did concede that he will miss his daughters. But that didn’t stop him from fighting with his oldest daughter, 15-year-old Gia.

He told Gia in the “RHONJ” episode, “I'll have every say – every way – in there or out,” Joe warned, “Oh believe me – I’ll be stronger in there than I am here. Remember how mom was in there and she controlled everything? It’s gonna be the same way.”

This led Gia to confess to her mother than her father’s prison sentence may be a good thing since it will make him realize what he has.

The “Real Housewives Of New Jersey” special episode also saw Joe almost violating Teresa’s parole terms by inviting a fellow convicted felon and his teenage son to the release of her memoir, “Turning The Tables.”

The 44-year-old housewife, however, brought the violation to her husband’s attention and the problem was quickly resolved.

“RHONJ” Season 7, episode 9 “Driving Miss Siggy” premieres on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 10 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
