KEY POINTS

  • A YouTube channel claiming to be Anonymous calls Kwon arrogant
  • It also enumerated Kwon's list of wrongdoings
  • The said channel alleged Kwon scammed billions from retail investors

Investors who hold a grudge against Terraform Labs's co-founder and CEO Do Kwon may get the justice they feel they deserve after a YouTube channel claiming to be Anonymous threatened they will intervene.

The infamous crash of the TerraUSD (UST) and native token LUNA wiped out the billions worth of investment and it is but right for many to find ways to get justice. Like a cue in a movie or a TV series, the YouTube channel said they will ensure that the Terraform Labs CEO Kwon will be "brought to justice as soon as possible."

The channel shared a video message addressed to Kwon and said that the South Korean CEO has "made a name for himself with his arrogant tactics trolling competitors, critics and acting like he would never fail." The channel also noted that Kwon is "single-handedly responsible for scamming billions of dollars away from retail investors."

The YouTube channel also recited a list of Kwon's alleged dirty laundry, including cashing out $80 million each month from UST and LUNA before the collapse. "Do Kwon, if you are listening, sadly, there is nothing that can be done to reverse the damage that you have done. At this point, the only thing that we can do is hold you accountable and make sure that you are brought to justice as soon as possible," adding that "there is no doubt that there are many more crimes to be discovered in your trail of destruction."

But, while it sounds too good for many Terra investors who have lost their money in the collapse, they should temper their expectations because, as it turns out, the said channel does not belong to the renowned hacktivist collective. While the channel appears legit in all aspects, the hacktivist collective does not own any cryptocurrency, token, altcoin or NFT.

In an interview with an Anonymous operative who had made several exploits to bring Russia down, the hacktivist collective denied having any link to the YouTube channel. The Anonymous operative also said that the movement does not own the websites http://Anontoken.com / http://anonymoushackers.net etc.

The first site, written below the posted video on the YouTube channel, is a link leading to the official page of a BEP20 token running on the Binance Smart Chain, AnonToken.
