Tesla CEO Elon Musk has shared a video of his son playing piano at a seniors’ home in Pasadena. The tweet by the proud father says it was lovely seeing smiles spreading on the inmates’ faces listening to the music.

However, the tweet is unclear about the name of Musk's son's playing the Piano. Musk has five sons with his ex-wife Justine Wilson and they are Griffin, Xavier, Kai, Saxon, and Damian.

The piano played at the old age home reflects the philanthropic side of billionaire Musk who heads Tesla, SpaceX and the Boring Company.

According to reports, Musk started charity givings a decade ago.

Musk foundation was launched in 2001 along with his younger brother Kimbal, who serves as the organization’s secretary and treasurer.

Musk Foundation offers grants for Renewable energy research and advocacy; space exploration research and advocacy, per Space X news.

A Guardian report says the foundation’s donations have benefited the billionaire’s initiatives and his passions including research on artificial intelligence than traditional charities it supports.

Recipients of Musk charity also include a school attended by Musk’s children, an art project at Musk’s favorite festival, Burning Man. The Tesla boss has publicly flaunted his charitable activities and support for the Flint water crisis or soccer team trapped in a Thai cave.

Multimillion-dollar donations of the Musk charity have graced Sierra Club and the XPrize Foundation, and the Obama Foundation.

The bulk of Musk’s charitable offerings had been through this private foundation, for which he provides the bulk of the funding.

Per reports, the Musk Foundation has disbursed more than $54million in 15 years of operations with one third on direct gifts to 160 charities, according to filings with the Internal Revenue Service.

The beneficiaries include many environmental, educational, medical and space advocacy organizations.

Piano event that supports communities

For emerging talents in piano, the Leeds Piano Festival is a great platform for the celebration of the piano, where outstanding pianists take the instrument to the communities.

This year at the Leeds International Piano Competition, the winner of the 2018 edition Eric Lu (21) was a big presence. The festival draws talents like world-renowned pianists Steven Osborne and Barry Douglas.

The healing power of music is already on display by Tayo Irvine Hendrix, daughter of rock star Jim that helps people harness their own “life force” to heal body, mind, and spirit.

Her project is now looking to partner with the U.S. alternative-medicine doctor Laura Lile to focus on "whole-body balance" medicine and natural healing.
