Electric vehicle maker Bollinger has finally revealed the cost of its all-electric B1 and B2 trucks, and the cost is more than what has been speculated. The B1 is Bollinger’s sport utility truck that will arrive in the auto market first, followed by the B2, a pickup truck model.

According to Bollinger, the price of the EVs will start at a reported $125,000, which is targeted towards low-volume production. The company is already taking orders for the electric trucks with a $1,000 refundable deposit on its website.

Bollinger has been in development with the B1 and B2 for more than four years, finally releasing more details about the electric trucks as of recently. Specs on the trucks include a 15-inch ground clearance, 5,201-pound payload, and 7,500-pound towing capacity.

Other details on the B1 and B2 include a 120-kWh battery pack, all-wheel drive, and a 200-mile driving range. The trucks develop 614 horsepower and 668 pound-per-feet of torque with a 100-mph top speed. Power-to-weight ratio on the vehicles is 7.8.

Bollinger CEO Robert Bollinger said in a statement, “We’re going to production with all of the components and features that our team developed from the start; we’re staying true to our DNA. Our trucks deliver a level of performance unlike anything on the market or coming to market.”

The EVs will go into production next year with market deliveries expected for 2021. The trucks will be sold and serviced through independent dealers in the U.S. and globally, Bollinger said. Manufacturing will occur in the U.S.
