Tesla earlier today unveiled its much-awaited Tesla Cybertruck to the public, and it is indeed every bit of a monster the CEO Elon Musk has described it to be. With high ground clearance, aggressive stance, and gigantic frame, the Tesla CYBRTRK is a sight to behold. But, with its contemporary look and revolutionary technology, will it replace the traditional ones?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk previously said that electric vehicles will eventually replace the traditional ones and argues that since Americans love pickup trucks, the new Tesla Cybertruck will take the place of the conventional models that buyers have known to love. It might be in the short term, but some analysts are not confident that traditional truck buyers will invest in early electric pickup models. Kelly Blue Book and Autotrader Executive Publisher Karl Brauer predicted that the Tesla Cybertruck would appeal more to tech enthusiasts than to traditional truck buyers.

Everything in Tesla Cybertruck is a departure from the customary pickup trucks, the executive publisher said in a statement. The latest pickup from Tesla is a technology statement for tech-oriented fans and professionals, and its departure from the norm will be its asset, Brauer said. However, for most Americans, pickup trucks are a lifestyle choice and not something they need for work.

Business owners will use pickup trucks on construction sites and for transporting loads. However, 75 percent of truck owners tow something or drive off-road once in each year, reveals Drive. Statistics show that 80% of truck owners compose 90% males are considering to purchase another pickup truck, but this statistic also indicates the highest loyalty rate in any vehicle class.
