Texas Woman Dumps Cheating Boyfriend In Viral Birthday Speech Video
What would you do to a cheating boyfriend? One Texas woman came up with an interesting idea to deal with the situation.
In a speech she made during her birthday party in front of all her friends, she called out her boyfriend for allegedly cheating on her and then dumped him right there. A video of her speech has since gone viral. Public opinion is divided over whether or not she did the right thing by posting this online.
In a video posted on Twitter, a Texas woman identified as Tiana Perea can be seen enjoying what seems like a regular birthday party. The room becomes silent when she starts speaking about how her boyfriend, who was present during the party, cheated on her and how she deserved better.
All of Perea’s friends knew that her boyfriend was a cheater, and they also apparently have screenshots of him sending videos to another girl and sexting. Towards the end of the video, she and her friends asked the cheating boyfriend to leave, which he did after a few brief comments.
In the caption of the video, Perea wondered if this is the right thing to do when a boyfriend cheats. As of this writing, the video has been seen over six million times and retweeted nearly 60,000 times.
Perea appears to be facing some backlash for the video. In another tweet, she said that there are many people who have negative things to say about her. On the other hand, she also has a great set of friends and family members who stood by her and supported her through what must have been a very emotional time for her.
A woman who identified herself as Erika Moore logged into Twitter just to defend Perea. Moore said that Perea is an amazing person and that they all love her.
“She watches our boys and loves them so much! Y’all can sit down somewhere with all the hate!” Moore said in her post. She also posted a picture of the two young boys that Perea is close to.
After the breakup and the video going viral, Perea is ready to move on. In a more recent post on Twitter, she asked her friends for suggestions on a good place to eat in Houston and a place where they can get drinks later.
“Trying to make it a good one this year,” Perea said.
