Teyana Taylor Moves On From Brandon Jennings With Iman Shumpert

Teyana Taylor has moved on from Brandon Jennings with a new NBA player. The 23-year-old singer is now dating the Knicks' Iman Shumpert, and made it official by posting a photo of the two on a beach in Hawaii. In honor of Shumpert's 24^th birthday, Taylor posted a picture of the two along with the caption, “Happy Birthday baby…#iLoveU.” It is unclear how long the two have been together, but he split up with singer Elle Varner last September.

Just last month, there was controversy surrounding Taylor’s previous relationship with Jennings, after he began dating her friend, model Lashontae Heckard. Heckard was close friends with G.O.O.D. rapper Taylor, and Taylor admits she feels betrayed. “I felt betrayed because of everything we’ve been through on and off for six years, Brandon doesn’t shock me anymore. My issue is not with Brandon, I’m not even upset because I know him. My issue is with Tae, that was my friend. I found out on the blogs, I called her and she got defensive,” Taylor said during a radio interview with the Breakfast Club in New York.

But Heckard seems undisturbed by the backlash, and has posted numerous of pictures recently on Instagram of the pair looking quite happy. Jennings even retweeted a fan who created a collage of the new couple.

While speaking with the Breakfast Club, Taylor also proclaimed that Jennings was her first love, days after he claimed his new relationship with Heckard is his first “real” one.

The Detroits Piston player took to Twitter to declare his love for Heckard, who previously dated rapper Nelly. He said he is “finally happy.” He also added, “Let me clear the air. I’ve been single since I was 21 yrs old. This is my first public 'Real' relationship."
