TGS 2015: PS4 Getting Colored Plates, Sony Releasing DualShock 4 Controllers In Four New Colors Very Soon
During its Tokyo Game Show press conference on Tuesday Sony debuted four new models of the DualShock 4 controller -- gold, silver, steel black and clear crystal. It also announced a number of colored plates for the PS4 so players can customize their consoles by adding color.
Some of the included colors for the new PS4 plates are red, gold, silver, yellow, pink, light blue and purple. Both the panels and controllers will be launching in Japan on November 6 (except the Crystal, which is supposedly following on December 3). Sony said that the gold and silver DualShock 4 controllers are set to come to the west first, with the other products sure to follow soon after.
Sony did not reveal exactly how these PS4 panels will work, but they will retail for 2,500 yen or $21. Pricing for the Dualshock 4 controllers is around 6,480 yen or $54.

Sony also announced a new headset that will be available in Japan on December 3 for 12,000 yen, or around $100. A limited edition "Star Wars" Darth Vader console is currently available for preorder in the US.
