The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2009 will be held on Thursday marching through a new route for the first time in 82 years.

The 2009 lineup will include a bunch of talents from Andrea Bocelli, Gloria Gaynor, to the Sesame Street Cast & Muppets.

Also marching will be eleven bands, dozens of clowns, eight dancing groups and giant balloons of famous movie characters such as Spider-Man, Shrek and Buzz Lightyear and novelty balloons with geometric figures, among others.

Starting Time: 9:00 a.m. departing from 77th Street and Central Park West.

Route:

Starts at 77th Street and Central Park West.

Runs along Central Park West until Columbus Circle.

On Columbus Circle turns east to 7th Avenue.

Marches down 7th avenue until 42nd Street.

On 42nd Street heads towards the east to 6th Avenue.

Travels down along 6th avenue until 34th Street.

Marches west along 34th Street .

Ends on 34th Street and 7th Avenue.
