Thanksgiving can often feel like a rushed, stressed and hurried holiday. Part of the anxiety can be the pressure for some guests and hosts to provide several side-dish options.
Here is a list of quick food ideas that can be made in under 30 minutes.
1) Sauteed Carrots
It just requires carrots, salt, pepper, unsalted butter, and chopped fresh dill or flat-leaf parsley. Peel a cut your carrots, mix ingredients and cook in a pan until soft.
2) Pear and Blue Cheese Salad
This recipe calls for walnuts or pecans, watercress, arugula, cider vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, olive oil, Belgian endive, pears, and blue cheese. Mix all together and keep the salad as fresh as possible.
3) Oven Roasted Asparagus with Almonds and Pepper
This recipe needs asparagus, garlic clove, olive, salt and pepper and toasted sliced almonds. Cook the asparagus in the oven with everything besides the almonds. Add the almonds for garnish at the end and serve.
