These 'Love Is Blind' Stars Knew Each Other For Years Before Appearing On Show
What a small world it is for the "Love Is Blind" cast.
After a recent Instagram Q&A session for fans, it was revealed that cast members Kelly Chase and Jessica Batten had known each other way before they began filming the hit Netflix show, according to ET Online.
Jessica first posted a throwback picture on Instagram of the two together rocking swimsuits and shared that they have known one another for about a decade. Kelly elaborated on her account when a fan asked how they met.

"Jessica and I actually met 10 or 11 years ago from an ex-boyfriend's same social circle," she replied in a video.
The reality series never addressed their friendship, however, viewers would witness the women chatting about their potential husbands-to-be from time to time. In the end, both women became engaged, Kelly to Kenny Barnes and Jessica to Mark Cuevas, but when it came time to make the ultimate commitment and exchange "I do's" with their respective partners, they couldn't follow through.
"Love Is Blind," which was filmed in late 2018, was released in February and has been a popular show for Netflix ever since. The experiment sought to test the theory that love can be blind by having individuals get to know each other, and eventually get engaged, without having seen each other.
Although Jessica and Kelly's love stories didn't end in happily ever after, that wasn't the case for the remaining Season 1 couples. Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton tied the knot on the show and are still together. The same holds true for Amber Pike and Matt Barnett. Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli even found their way back to each other after he said "I do not" at the alter.
All episodes of "Love Is Blind" are now available to stream on Netflix.
