‘Things More Likely Than Brazil Winning The World Cup' Meme Takes Off On Twitter

The score of the World Cup Brazil vs. Germany game looked like an American football match: 7-0. It became apparent quickly Brazil didn’t have a chance to win the match and many Twitter users took the opportunity to create some memes because -- what else are netizens known for?
The long hashtag: #ThingMoreLikelyThanBrazilWinningTheWorldCup quickly became a hot topic on the 140-character social media site. Many of the pictures, posts and memes created were hilarious to most, except for those who were rooting for Brazil to win.
Ever hear the old adage “when pigs fly?” Well, apparently some used this saying to describe how Brazil would be able to come back from their inevitable loss.

For those who don’t know, A-list actor Leonardo DiCaprio has never won an Oscar. Some Twitterati thought the “Wolf of Wall Street” star might have a better chance at taking home an Academy Award than Brazil did to take home a win from the Germany match Tuesday.

Another pop culture fact: Katy Perry has never won a Grammy. Apparently some thought it was more likely she would take home the top music award rather than Brazil winning the game against Germany.
