'Thor: Love And Thunder' Villain May Be Amora The Enchantress
After facing a deadly enemy like Thanos (Josh Brolin), Chris Hemsworth’s character will face a different kind of villain in “Thor: Love and Thunder.” The comic book character Amora the Enchantress will reportedly appear in the upcoming film, and Jennifer Lawrence is apparently being considered for the role.
In the comics, Amora was seen as a villain who used manipulation and seduction as her primary ways of dealing with her enemies. She is also a powerful user of magic who used her abilities to create chaos in Asgard.
Sources familiar with the developments of the upcoming film told We Got This Covered that the goddess Amora will be the villain in the upcoming movie. The character has been seen in the comics trying to temp the God of Thunder to leave Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), and this storyline may be used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe too.
Jane was missing during the fight against Thanos, but she will have a big role in “Thor: Love and Thunder.” A deleted scene from “Thor: Ragnarok” showed how Jane refused to go with the God of Thunder to Asgard because she felt that there was nothing for her there. The next movie may build on that conflict between the two characters, Screen Rant reported.
Will Amora take advantage of the relationship troubles between the God of Thunder and Jane? Thor has also not been in a good state of mind ever since Thanos snapped his fingers. Hemsworth’s character has been spending his days drinking, and he has gained a lot of weight as a result.
Another interesting character who may appear in Hemsworth’s flick is the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). In an interview with BuzzFeed, the actor confirmed that he has been talking about reprising his role, and he hopes he can return in “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
