'Three Wise Men And A Baby' Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
Hallmark Channel's merry holiday season continues with the newest "Countdown to Christmas" holiday premiere, "Three Wise Men and a Baby." The film, starring Andrew Walker, Tyler Hynes and Paul Campbell, premieres Saturday night.
The film is set to be perhaps the biggest treat of the season for Hallmark fans, as it features, not one, but three of the network's leading men as its stars. Walker, Hynes and Campbell have been familiar faces for years, and fans will surely be delighted to see them all in action once again.
As for where fans might recognize them, Hynes is the one who has exclusively worked with Hallmark Channel the most. His titles have included "An Unexpected Christmas," "Roadhouse Romance," "Sweet Carolina," "It Was Always You," "On the 12th Date of Christmas," "Winter in Vail," "The Mistletoe Secret," "Wedding March 5: My Boyfriend's Back," "Flip That Romance," "It's Christmas, Eve" and "Falling For You."
Campbell is also well-known for his Hallmark Channel titles, which include "Sun Sand and Romance," "The Last bridesmaid," "Wedding Every Weekend," "Christmas by Starlight," "The Santa Stakeout," "The Nine Kittens of Christmas" and "Dating the Delaneys." He has also appeared on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, however, in "Holiday Hearts" and "A Godwink Christmas."
As for Walker, he has mostly stayed on Hallmark, but also taken his talents to Lifetime, where he starred in both "Snowed-Inn Christmas" and "A Christmas in Tennessee." On Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, he has starred in "Dying for Chocolate: A Curious Caterer Mystery," "Christmas Tree Lane," and "Christmas on My Mind." His Hallmark Channel credits include "Love on Ice," "The Perfect Catch," "Love Struck Café," "My Secret Valentine," "Wedding March 4: Something Old, Something New," "Love in Design," "Bottled with Love," "Merry & Bright," "Sweet Autumn," "The 27-Hour Day" and "My Christmas Family Tree."
Margaret Colin ("Gossip Girl") joins the three stars in the film as well.
So what can fans expect from the film? Let's find out.
"Luke Brenner (Walker) is Mr. Perfect—an all-star firefighter and poster boy for physical health and clean living," a synopsis reads. "But when he finds a baby on the doorstep of the firehall with a note asking him to care for it until Christmas, he's uncharacteristically at a loss. Unfortunately, his mom Barbara (Colin) has to go out of town to attend to her sister's medical emergency, leaving Luke with no other choice but to rely on his brothers for help until she returns—Taylor (Hynes), an opinionated video game designer who recently lost his job, and Stephan (Camp bell), a pet therapist with severe social anxiety."
Hijinks begin to ensue as the three try taking care of the baby, forcing them to all work together as a result.
"It's one mishap after another as the brothers take turns trying to care for the baby individually, and they soon discover the only way to survive the week is to work together as a team—something they haven't done since they were children," the synopsis continues.
The approach seems to work, and along the way, not only do the brothers start getting a handle on how to care for the baby, but they also find ways to rebuild all the relationships in their lives as well, just in time for the holidays.
"As they slowly get the hang of things, they find themselves on unexpected journeys of self-discovery and begin to rebuild their relationships as brothers, as well as repair damaged romantic and professional relationships in their respective lives...all while rediscovering their love of Christmas," the synopsis concludes.
"Three Wise Men and a Baby" premieres Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
