T.I. Slams Azealia Banks, Again: 'Say Something About My Family, I’m Going At You!"
T.I. is offering his side of the social media feud between himself and rapper Azealia Banks. The rapper posted a scathing message on his Instagram account on June 16 after Banks took a dig at T.I’s wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris on Twitter.
“U want no mediocre but … Have you seen your wife?” said Banks on Twitter. The comment was in reference to T.I’s new song “Mediocre,” in which he talks about not wanting a “mediocre” woman.
Speaking to a TMZ photographer in New York City on June 17, Tip said he doesn’t care what someone says about him. Criticizing his family, on the other hand, is absolutely unacceptable.
“You were engaged in a little Twitter war with someone I’m not even going to give the honor of naming,” the TMZ photographer said to T.I. as he walked to his waiting vehicle, alluding to the argument between the rapper and Banks.
T.I. briefly scrunched up his face, saying, there “ain’t no war.” He then explained his take on disrespectful comments directed at him and his family.
“You can say what you want about me. But if you say something about my family, I’m going to go at you. And I’m going to be relentless,” T.I. warned.
“I’ll chew your throat off your neck if I need to because I have an oath to maintain the honor and respect and the integrity of my family. Anybody that violates that, I’m going,” he added. T.I. said he never mentioned anyone’s name and that he wants people to leave him and his family alone.
“Say what you will about me. You have a problem with me, please say what you want to say about me. Leave my family out of it,” he said. “Say something about my family, I’m at you! I don’t care who you are I don’t care what you do. I’m at you.”
Banks launched another Twitter rant the day after making the comments about Tiny, even threatening to sue T.I. for his Instagram post about her. She later deleted the tweets and has since remained quiet on social media about the situation.
