Is Tiffany Haddish Dating Common? Her Response To The Rumors
Are Tiffany Haddish and Common dating?
The comedian and musician stirred up speculation after the two posted footage from their virtual date on Bumble, a dating app that puts women in control by letting them make the first move, on Wednesday. Not all celebrities are as forthcoming about their personal lives, but thankfully for fans, Haddish didn't mind setting the record straight.
During a virtual guest appearance on the "Today" show on Wednesday, host Hoda Kotb candidly asked the 40-year-old if she was dating the rapper.
"I was kind of confused about your Bumble dating," Hoda started. "I don't know where I read this and maybe it's a total rumor... but what about you and Common?"
"He's on Bumble," the "Girl's Trip" actress quipped, as Hoda pressed for more details.
"We went on a virtual Bumble date. Get out of my bedroom, Hoda!" she laughed before confirming her current relationship status. "Now it's just me in my bedroom and all of my clean clothes. I piled all the clean clothes up next to me so it feels like somebody's in the bed."
Tiffany, who is a spokesperson for the dating app, then excitedly gushed about its features which include allowing matches to video chat and order food directly through the app.
"As the woman, you get to make the first move. You decide," she explained. When it comes to the meal though, the responsibility is on her match "because I'm the prize... And I already made the first move. So there, you can pay for the meal," she said.
The "Like A Boss" star also listed off some activities that she would enjoy doing while on a virtual date. "You know, we watch movies together sometimes. Just talk. Dancing on the Bumble."
When she isn't going on virtual dates, Haddish revealed that her quarantine life has been "pretty amazing."
"I've been napping, like, ridiculously... I've been gardening, so that's been really fun," she said. "I dusted off my treadmill. I've been getting on that every day for a little bit—like five minutes."'
