The conditions at the Dubai Desert Classic were less than ideal, to say the least. But Woods tied for 20th, and these types of results seem to be increasingly common for Woods, who has failed to piece together four consistently strong rounds at an event in several months.
The goal on Tiger's mind is to win 19 major championships. Currently, Woods has 14, four behind leader Jack Nicklaus who has 18.
The Masters Tournament is right around the corner, and a poor showing by Woods would have fans wondering if we've seen the last of his dominance in the sport.
It may still be premature to say Tiger's best days are behind him. Woods himself believes he's seeing positive changes in his swing under the tutelage of Sean Foley. And Woods is still ranked third in the world.
Yeah, it's frustrating, but it's a step in the right direction, Woods said of his performance at Dubai. I've improved a lot from where I was at Torrey Pines a couple of weeks ago.
The question is will he continue to improve and regain his stature, or have we seen the last of Tiger Woods the unstoppable force?
