Tiger Woods is still recovering from the injuries he sustained during his car crash in February but has already gotten back on the golf course.
On Friday, the golf pro shared on Instagram the first photo of himself since his car crash. Posing outside on his own golf course, Woods was all smiles while standing with crutches. He sported matching black Nike T-shirt and shorts, a white cap, a white sneaker on one foot and a boot on the other.
"My course is coming along faster than I am [smile emoji]. But it’s nice to have a faithful rehab partner, man’s best friend," he wrote in the caption, referring to his dog Bugs, a Border Collie and Springer Spaniel mix that his family welcomed in Christmas 2015.
Woods' post received tons of comments and likes from his fans and followers, who sent him their well-wishes and wished him a speedy recovery.
"Ayyyyyy . Good to see that smile!" one person commented.
"Love you Tiger. Get well," a second user added.
"WE LOVE YOU TIGER," another wrote.
"GET WELL SOON," Ben Soffer added.
"Bugssssss," Justin Thomas wrote, referring to his dog companion.
This comes two months after Woods was involved in a car crash in Rancho Palos Verdes, outside of Los Angeles, on Feb. 23. He underwent emergency surgery for the "significant orthopedic injuries to his right lower extremity" that he sustained from the accident.
Woods spoke out on Feb. 28 to address the incident. "It is hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the tv and saw all the red shirts," he tweeted. "To every golfer and every fan, you are truly helping me get through this tough time."
In March, the 82-time PGA Tour winner thanked everyone who took care of him during his hospitalization at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
"Happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery," Woods wrote in his statement on Twitter. "I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks."
"Thank you to the incredible surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough," he added.
Following his release from the hospital, Woods returned home to his South Florida residence to continue the rehabilitation process.
Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Country Sheriff's Department concluded the investigation into his accident, but though it was found that Woods drove above 80 miles per hour in a 45 m.p.h. zone, he was not given a ticket or charged with reckless driving, The New York Times reported.
Woods shared the update on Twitter, adding that he will focus on his family and recovery.
