  • A British TikTok personality and her mother are accused of murdering two men in February
  • One victim was the mother's lover, who allegedly threatened to leak his and the mother's sex tape to her family
  • The eight defendants in the case all deny their respective murder and manslaughter charges

A British TikTok influencer allegedly deliberately murdered her mother's younger lover earlier this year after the paramour threatened to leak a sex tape, a court has heard.

Saqib Hussain and his friend Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin, both 21, died instantly when their Skoda hit a tree in the central reservation of the A46 dual carriageway near the English city of Leicester on Feb. 11, the Daily Mail reported.

They were allegedly pursued by two vehicles at speeds of up to 100 miles before the crash.

"They're right behind. They're hitting into the back of the car very fast. I am going to be rammed off the road. Please sir, I just need help, and I am in danger. They are trying to kill me. Please, I'm begging you, I'm going to die," Hussain said in an emergency call that was played to a jury at Leicester Crown Court.

TikTok personality Mahek Bukhari, 23, and her mother Ansreen Bukhari, 45, both from Stoke-on-Trent, England, along with six others, have been charged with murder over the deaths, the BBC reported.

Prior to the fatal crash, Hussain allegedly threatened to leak a sex tape he and Ansreen made to her husband and family when she tried to end their three-year affair, the jury was told.

Hussain, who was "head over heels" in love with Ansreen, according to his sister, attempted to meet up with his older lover and Mahek on the night of his death.

He believed the two were going to pay him £2,000 ($2,230), which was equal to the money he had spent on Ansreen during their relationship, the court heard.

Hussain also wanted the cash in return for keeping intimate photographs of Ansreen private and not sharing them on the internet or sending them to her husband.

However, Hussain and Ijazuddin spotted other people, including men wearing balaclavas, upon arriving at their meeting at a Tesco supermarket in Leicester.

The two attempted to flee but were later rammed and crashed after a 10-minute chase.

All eight defendants in the case were in two cars, an Audi TT and a Seat Leon, that pursued the victims' vehicle.

It is alleged they were the ones who rammed Hussain and Ijazuddin off the road.

Authorities told the court that the meeting at Tesco was "premeditated."

"Those involved must have known from the fact that balaclavas were being worn that violence was contemplated if necessary," prosecutor Collingwood Thompson told the jury.

Mahek allegedly launched a "trap" in order "to silence" Hussain after he threatened to send sexually explicit material of Ansreen to her family, the court heard.

She and her mother deny murder, along with Natasha Akhtar, of Birmingham, and Raess Jamal, of Loughborough, both 22.

The remaining defendants, Mohammed Patel, 20; Ammeer Jamal, 27; Sanaf Gulammustafa, 28; and Rekan Karwan, 28, all of whom are from Leicester, also deny the charge.

All of the accused also denied an alternative count of manslaughter.

The trial continues. It is expected to last eight weeks.
