TikTok star Huey Haha has died, leaving behind his 2-year-old daughter Princess. He was 22.

A spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department said Thursday that the California-based comedian and social media influencer died on Oct. 25. While authorities have yet to confirm the cause of his death, the spokesperson said there was no foul play involved in his sudden passing.

“The preliminary investigation into that incident indicated no foul play and the investigation was turned over to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office,” said the spokesperson.

A post on Haha’s official Instagram also confirmed his death Thursday. “Rest in Peace to Huey Ha,” read the post. “Huey Ha passed away October 25, 2021. He loved and appreciated every single one of his supporters.”

Rumors of his death first spread online Wednesday, with fans paying tribute to him on Twitter until his name became a trending topic on the social networking site.

After news about his death was confirmed, Coby and Hype Boii, Haha’s friends, shared a series of photos and videos with the late influencer. “Used to saying RIP but this hurt the most. We always hated comedy cuz all people see is laughs, not what we hadda do or go through. They already took the fun out the comedy but now it’s not gon be the same without you,” they wrote.

“We love you brother, see you in the future,” they added. They have since then created a GoFundMe campaign to cover the expenses of Haha’s funeral and support his daughter.

At the time of his death, Haha was busy working on his YouTube channel. He was also a devoted father to his daughter Princess.

In an interview before his passing, the TikTok star said it’s the best feeling being a dad. “I just love when I come home and my daughter, she just comes running to the door and she screams,” he said. “It’s the best feeling, bro. you don’t really understand fatherhood until you’re in it,” he added.

Haha’s flourishing TikTok account, where he racked up more than 4.5 million views, has now been deleted.
