TikTok Stars Bryce Hall and Jaden Hossler Arrested On Drug Charges During Cross-Country Road Trip

Prominent TikTok creators Jaden Hossler, 19, and Bryce Hall, 20, were arrested Monday (May 25) on drug possession charges. The arrest of the duo, active members of the Los Angeles based content collective named “Sway House,” was made in Lee County, Texas.

Their arrests came after Hall was found in possession of nearly 2 ounces of marijuana, while Hossler had less than 2 ounces of marijuana and less than 400 grams of a controlled substance. Lee County Sheriff's Office Tuesday (May 26) confirmed that Hall was facing a misdemeanor charge and Hossler was handed two charges, one of which is a second-degree felony with a prospective punishment of up to 2 to 20 years in state prison or a fine worth $10,000, according to Insider.

Local reports state that Hall posted a $5,000 bail and Hossler posted $6,500 in bail Tuesday. Hall reportedly declared his release in a since-deleted Twitter post. "I'm back,” he wrote. Hossler also tweeted a “Hi,” which was later removed.

Hall announced the cross-country trip to his fans on Twitter on May 20. "the sway boyz might do a whole road trip all the way across the country in the next few days... where should we stop."

He further dismissed the criticism surrounding the road trip amid the coronavirus pandemic saying, "most states lifted quarantine, the boys are driving across the country staying out of contact from everyone... it's not that deep."

Hall and Hossler set out for a road trip earlier in May with fellow TikTokers to Texas, where they had been partying at a posh Airbnb rental in Cedar Springs. The TikTok stars, who boast millions of followers, kept sharing updates from their road trips in social media. Footage of their alleged arrest made rounds on the internet, sparking the hashtag #FreeSway on Twitter.

Hossler's father Tuesday left a note for his son's concerned followers on TikTok saying, "Hey Tik Tok folk! Thx for all the prayers for Jaden. Not gonna share a lot of details right now but Jaden and the boys are going to be ok. More later."
