During a Tuesday morning interview, San Antonio Spurs star Danny Green addressed rumors that Tim Duncan’s wife, Amy Duncan, may have outed his teammate as gay during the couple’s ongoing divorce battle.

In an interview with “The Breakfast Club,” New York-based radio station Power 105.1’s morning program, Green addressed the rumors that Amy Duncan may have outed her husband as gay or bisexual during divorce proceedings. When asked directly if Tim Duncan was bisexual, Green told radio hosts that he didn’t believe that the rumors were true. “I just recently heard about [the rumors]. I don’t believe so,” he said.

When asked how he would react to any revelations regarding Duncan’s sexuality, Green expressed support for his teammate. “Timmy is Tim. I’m not going to look at him any differently. He’s my teammate regardless of his sexual preferences,” Green said in the interview. “I haven’t heard anything about it and I definitely haven’t suspected anything. He’s going through some stuff, and that’s what happens when you go through a divorce sometimes. It gets ugly.”

Reports about Duncan’s alleged bisexuality originated earlier this month, when gossip blog Hollywood Street King alleged that Amy Duncan may have outed Tim as gay during a divorce court hearing. According to the blog, a source close to the divorce battle claimed that Tim Duncan had been in a gay relationship since college, and that his alleged “lover” had lived with the Spurs star and his wife for the first two years of their marriage.

“Amy treated Tim like a b---- throughout their marriage because she knew he was f---ing his BFF,” a source allegedly told Hollywood Street King. “Tim knows Amy was cheating on him, but he’s willing to give her whatever she wants, because he doesn’t want Amy to tell the world that he’s bisexual.”

The report, while dubious at best, quickly spread throughout the Internet, as fans attempted to ascertain whether Duncan’s alleged bisexuality had indeed played a role in his divorce proceedings. Neither Tim not Amy Duncan have responded to the rumors so far.
