Tim Tebow Easter Service: How To Hear Tebow's Message At Celebration Church in Texas
Tim Tebow will be the special guest at an Easter service in Texas that is expected to draw a crowd of nearly 30,000.
Tebow, the devout Christian quarterback who was traded from the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets, will speak at the Celebration Church's Easter On The Hill event at 10 a.m. Easter Sunday in Georgetown, Tex. -- a suburb of Austin in central Texas.
As the son of an NFL coach, and also someone who came to know Christ thanks to two NFL players who were willing to share the Gospel with me, I am extremely excited to have Tim Tebow with us this year, said Celebration Church co-pastor Joe Champion. We believe this year's service will impact the lives of those who would never enter the doors of a church.
Champion's wife and co-pastor, Lori Champion, was equally thrilled to have Tebow take part in Easter ON The Hill - an outdoor event.
It's a great time to use the property that the Lord gave to us several years ago and it's always been our vision to see people worshiping out on that hill. On the heels of our 12th year anniversary, it's going to be amazing, she said.
