Time 100 Gala: Karlie Kloss Looks Stunning In Purple Victoria Beckham Gown, Pays Tribute To Prince

Karlie Kloss made a rare appearance with her boyfriend Joshua Kushner at the Time 100 gala. The model looked stunning in a purple Victoria Beckham gown dress. She paid tribute to legendary singer Prince by choosing the color.

The 23-year-old beauty arrived at the event on the arms of her longtime boyfriend Joshua, 30, whom she has been dating since 2012. The couple stayed close to each other throughout the night and looked very happy. The gala turned out to be a date night for Karlie, who was being feted as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People.

Karlie looked stunning in a floor-length purple Victoria Beckham gown. The dress featured camisole straps and crossover front which flattered her svelte figure. The body-hugging dress also had a trumpet skirt.

The former Victoria’s Secret angel accessorized with drop earrings and a ring, carried a small black clutch bag and added height to her 6ft 1in frame with a pair of T-strap high heels in black and metallic color. Karlie’s make-up consisted of bold black and white eyeliner and bright fuschia lipstick. Her blonde hair was kept in a side part and styled into a bun.

“I’m wearing my purple in [Prince’s] honor,” Karlie said, talking to People, before adding that her favorite song was “Purple Rain.”

Karlie was honored for her entrepreneurial skills. Her Kode with Karlie scholarship encourages young girls between the age of 13 and 18 to learn computer coding, and close the gender gap in the computer science field. The model, who is a 34-time Vogue cover girl, is also known for her philanthropy.

Time also recognized her continued work with charities. Karlie’s famous Kookies were created in collaboration with Momofuku Milk Bar. Proceeds from sales of the Kookies provide meals for children in New York and around the world through FEED Projects.

Meanwhile, Joshua seemed to be very happy for his girlfriend. The Harvard-educated businessman is a hugely successful social gaming entrepreneur and a venture capitalist, and the co-founder of Oscar health insurance. He is also related to the Trump family.

Joshua’s older brother Jared Kushner, 35, is married to Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump, and the couple have three children together.
