The Tennessee Titans are set to sign running back David Fluellen to a one-year deal days after they released veteran RB Shonne Greene.

Fluellen had workouts earlier in the offseason with the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers but did not find a deal with those teams. RealGM.com first reported the Titans signing.

Fluellen was a two-time First Team All-MAC selection at Toledo in his college football career but went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft. He had an impressive year in his senior season, accumulating 1,121 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns despite struggling with various injuries.

Fluellen was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent in 2014 but was traded to the Indianapolis Colts the same year. He was waived by the Colts in August of 2014.

The Titans are coming off one of the worst seasons in franchise history, with a 2-14 win-loss record in the 2014 NFL season.
