TLC’s ‘Kate Plus Date’ 2019 Premiere: Meet Kate Gosselin’s Matchmakers [Trailer, Air Date]

Kate Gosselin’s back on TLC and looking for love with the new six-part series, “Kate Plus Date.”

Premiering tonight, the show follows the mother of eight as two matchmakers — relationship expert Rachel DeAlto (“Married at First Sight,” “Second Chances”) and dating specialist Adam LoDolce (Sexy Confidence founder) — help her find romance by setting her up on dates with 10 bachelors.

“Raising eight children hasn’t granted Kate much time for romance, but with her sextuplets grown and her oldest twins off to college in the fall, the time is right for the well-known mother of multiples to find that special someone,” the synopsis shares.

After being single for close to a decade, the “Kate Plus 8” alum is a little rusty on the rules of dating, but she’s hoping her matchmakers will be able to guide her through it all. She’ll have plenty of chances to practice her dating skills as she’ll be going on dates with 10 suitors, and they’ll all consist of two activities — one that’s fun and one that’s more personal.

Fans can expect commentary from her twins Mady and Cara Gosselin throughout the run of “Kate Plus Date.”

When all is said and done, Kate will have to choose only two of the guys to take on a second date. Will she find true love with one of the men? Find out when “Kate Plus Date” premieres on TLC on Monday at 10 p.m. EDT.
