The richest player in NFL history is certainly living like it. Tom Brady is adding another yacht to his collection, shelling out more for the boat than several starting quarterbacks will make all of next season.

Brady’s latest purchase is a Wajer 77, a 77-foot superyacht, and it costs $6 million, according to TMZ. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ star already owns the smaller Wajer 55S, which Brady took to the team’s championship parade in February.

“The 55S is an amazing boat, and it’s been an amazing boat for our family,” Brady said, via TMZ.

“I think the 77 will be a little bit more suited for what we need it for down here, which is a few more day trips and weekend trips. We spend a lot of time in the Bahamas. So going from the East Coast of Florida across into the Bahamas and around the Bahamas would be really great trips for us as a family.”

If any NFL player can afford such an expensive boat, it’s Brady. The 43-year-old has earned a record $263.5 million over the course of his 21-year career, and that doesn’t even include endorsements. Last year, Forbes estimated that Brady earned $45 million in salary and earnings away from the field.

In March, Tampa signed Brady to a contract extension. The deal is set to pay Brady more than $51 million over the next two seasons.

Brady could be among the NFL’s highest-paid players for several more years. The quarterback shows no signs of slowing down, winning his fifth career Super Bowl MVP award just a few months ago.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates Brady to be worth an unconfirmed $250 million. The quarterback isn’t even the richest person in his family. Model Gisele Bundchen is thought to have a net worth well north that of her husband’s.
