Tom Brady Shares Rare Photo Of Ex Bridget Moynahan After Announcing Second Retirement

Tom Brady shared a rare photo of his ex-girlfriend after announcing his retirement.

Brady announced Wednesday that he is retiring from football for good. Following his retirement announcement, he shared several family photos on his Instagram Stories, and one shot featured his ex, Bridget Moynahan.

Brady and Moynahan share a son, Jack, 15. In the snap, the "Blue Blood" star and NFL superstar both wear a gray button-down shirt with jack standing between them, wearing a white button-down and tan joggers with an arm around his parents.

In addition to Jack, Brady shares two children with his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10.

Moynahan and Brady have been friends on social media for years after their separation. In April 2021, the seven-time Super Bowl champion wished Jack's mom a "great" day on her 50th birthday.

She also gave Brady a shoutout when he was awarded MVP at the 2021 Super Bowl.

"I am pretty sure I am not the only one from #patriotsnation celebrating @buccaneers #superbowl #greatgame #strong #soproud #55," she wrote.

Moynahan also expressed support for Brady when he announced his retirement last year. She shared a snap of the former NFL player on social media, along with a short message.

"So proud of @tombrady. Yesterday and today and I know you will do great things tomorrow. Looking forward to the next steps," she wrote on Instagram.

However, that wasn't always the case. Moynahan and Brady started seeing each other in 2004, and their relationship lasted for more than two years before they split in 2006, when she was still pregnant with their son. He started dating Bundchen just months after their breakup.

The "I, Robot" actress gave birth to Jack in August 2007. She recounted when she delivered her son and how Brady was there but didn't hold her hand.

"[Tom] was there on that day and came in afterwards," Moynahan told More magazine in 2011 about her labor. "He certainly wasn't holding my hand while I pushed."

In 2008, she opened up about their split and said she preferred to be a single mom.

"I'm not sure anyone — and I could be wrong in this — grows up thinking, 'I want to be a single mom,'" she told Harper's Bazaar.

"When you're suddenly pregnant, and no one is standing by your side, even if you're in your 30s, it's a hard conversation. I'm a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that's the way I'd be doing this. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family."
