Tommy Hilfiger Showcases Sleek, Suave Military Looks for 2012 NY Fashion Week (PHOTOS)
It was all about the double-breasted officer's coat, turtle-necks, quilted leather gloves and skinny pants for high-end luxury brand Tommy Hilfiger for its 2012 Men's Fall/Winter collection at the New York Fashion Week.
The sleek, sophisticated looks completely complemented the 2012 theme on a young cadet's military and sports lifestyle.
The entire collection was set in rich autumn shades including burgundy, grey and navy to match their Cadet Academy official theme.
Presented at the Park Avenue Armory on Feb. 10, 2012, the event attracted a number of Hollywood celebrities including The Hangover actor Bradley Cooper and Twilight star Kellan Lutz. While Bradley was seen in an ochre glen plaid pea coat, red cotton cardigan, white henley and blue chinos all by Tommy Hilfiger, Kellan opted for navy two button notch lapel chambray blazer striped tie, and brown suede desert booties by Tommy Hilfiger.
Apart from this, NY Giant's Superbowl champion Victor Cruz was also present at the event dressed in a pea coat with maroon stripes over a striped shawl, collar sweater, white tee, navy blue cargo pants and camouflage boots by Tommy Hilfiger.
On the other hand, True Blood's newest star Giles Matthey wore a navy cashmere cardigan, chambray button down, dark wash jeans and Tommy Hilfiger Bass Weejuns.
According to WWD, apart from the military creations, Hilfiger also presented varsity jackets luxed up with quilted leather sleeves along with laser-cut motorcycle jackets and shearling great coats with metallic trim to inject a note of rebellion into the polished and disciplined mood of the proceedings.
