The movie follows Mallory Kane (Gina Carano), a freelance national security contractor who is betrayed by her own agency during a mission in Barcelona and must now protect her family and go after the ones who betrayed her. The movie is set to release on January 20, 2012.
In Time: In Time, which was previously titled Now and I’m Mortal, has been written and directed by Andrew Niccol. The movie is a science fiction thriller starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde and Alex Pettyfer. The story revolves around a not-too-distant future when the ageing gene has been switched off and people now have to pay to stay alive after 25. The rich has the luxury to stay alive while the poor must negotiate. The movie will release on October 28, 2011.
Hugo: Hugo, based on Brian Selznick's novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret, is an upcoming 3D adventure film. Hugo has been directed by Martin Scorsese starring Asa Butterfield, Sacha Baron Cohen and Ben Kingsley. Hugo (Butterfield) is an orphan living secretly in the walls of a Paris train station who stumbles upon an eccentric girl and a cold toy shop owner. He is caught in a mysterious magical adventure. The film is Scorsese’s first to be shot in 3D. The movie is set to release on November 23, 2011.
Paranormal Activity 3: The third in the Paranormal Activity franchise, the movie has been given a release date of October 21, 2011. The supernatural horror movie will be set 18 years before the events of both Paranormal Activity and Paranormal Activity 2. The trailer of the movie shows that it has been shot 1988 and focuses on two girls Katie and Kristi who are followed by the demon.
Knights of Badassdom: This is a horror-comedy where a group of live action roleplayers accidentally summon a demon from the underworld. The movie has been directed by Joe Lynch and stars Peter Dinklage, Douglas Tait and Summer Glau. The movie is expected in late 2011.
The Amazing Spider-Man: The fourth Columbia Pictures film based on the Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man and the first in a rebooted Spider-Man film franchise. Andrew Garfield replaces Tobey Maguire as the new Peter Parker (Spider-Man), Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy (Parker’s love interest) and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors (The Lizard).
