As 2011 draws to a close, one of the funniest ways to look back on the year (and our reactions to it) are through the intentionally or accidentally hilarious tweets of some of America's biggest celebrities.

Donald Glover of Community fame and Star Trek actor turned activist George Takei take high honors, which more than one tweet to their names.

But beyond professional funnymen, other stars like Olivia Wilde, Rihanna, Samuel L. Jackson and even sex therapist Dr. Ruth contributed to some of the funniest tweets of 2011. Even celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian, without meaning to, have ended up on our Twitter roundup for unintended but still priceless hilarity.
