While Motorola Droid Bionic has hit the market recently on Verizon, Samsung's competitor for iPhone 5 - Galaxy S2 Epic Touch 4G - was launched by Sprint on Friday.
Both these Android-powered super phones claim to have high-end software and hardware specifications. While the Droid Bionic is priced at $299.99 on a two year contract with Verizon, Sprint's Epic Touch 4 G is available for $199.99 on a two-year contract.
Here is a list of reasons which shows the superiority of Galaxy Epic Touch 4G over Droid Bionic.
Size: Galaxy S2 Epic Touch 4G comes with 129.5 x 68.6 x 9.6 mm dimension and weighs at 129g. Droid Bionic features 127.5 x 66.9 x 11 mm and weighs 158.8 g.
Display: Epic Touch 4G version of Sprint has 4.52-inch display screen compared to Droid Bionic's 4.3-inch screen. Samsung smartphones come with Super AMOLED Plus display feature, while Droid Bionic has qHD display. The Super AMOLED Plus displays bring along very highly saturated colors and can produce very dark, rich, black levels. The viewing angle in AMOLED display is much wider compared to qHD LCD display.
Pricing: Epic Touch 4G is priced at $100 less than Droid Bionic. Many other retail giants are offering the phone at a much cheaper price compared to Droid Bionic.
