Arkansas Best Corporation (NASDAQ:ABFS) shares climbed 16.11 percent to $12.25 in post-market trading. Arkansas Best Freight a subsidiary of Arkansas Best Corp. and the Teamsters reached a tentative agreement on a five-year contract, which the company said will help achieve its goals including putting ABF on a path of profitability to secure jobs and retirement benefits, among others.
The Madison Square Garden Company (NASDAQ:MSG) shares rose 3.28 percent to $62.70 in post-market trading after the company reported a 24 percent jump in net income to $38.4 million, or $0.49 earnings per share, from $31.1 million, or $0.40 per share, a year earlier, during its fiscal third quarter. The average analyst estimate was $0.31 per share, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
