DragonWave Inc (DRWI) shares climbed 13.79 percent to $3.96 in after-hours trading. The company announced Wednesday the financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2013, ending May 31, 2012.
The company reported a revenue of $13.0 million for the first quarter of thefiscal year 2013 versus $9.2 million in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2012 and $11.0 million in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2012.
Shares of Complete Genomics Inc (GNOM) rose 8.19 percent in the post-market session to close at $3.17. The company's shares surged 43.63 percent in the regular session. The Life Sciences Company announced that its Long Fragment Read (LFR) technology for whole genome sequencing dramatically improves accuracy, enables fully-phased genomes and significantly reduces the amount of DNA required for testing. Apollo Group Inc (APOL) shares gained 4.55 percent and reached $33.92 in after-hours trading. The company announced Wednesday that the Alabama Department of Education has adopted Carnegie Learning Cognitive Tutor® Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II software developed by the Carnegie Learning, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Apollo Group, as the preferred supplemental instructional material for students from Grades 9-12 through June 2018.
