Gainers
PDI Inc. (NASDAQ:PDII) shares climbed 30.30 percent to $5.21 in post-market trading. The company reported first quarter net income of $2.1 million or $0.14 per share, compared to a loss of $2.7 million or $0.02 per share last year. Analysts polled by Reuters forecast a loss of $0.11 per share for the quarter.
Nanosphere Inc. (NASDAQ:NSPH) shares rose 17.20 percent to $3.27 in post-market trading after the company announced Monday that it has signed a distribution and collaboration agreement with Hitachi High-Technologies Corp. to market its products in Japan. The two companies also intend to collaborate on assay and platform development.
Information Services Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:III) shares advanced 11.05 percent to $2.11 in post-market trading. The company reported robust first quarter revenues of $50.6 million, up 10 percent from $46.3 million reported in the first quarter of 2012. Adjusted EBITDA stood at $5 million, up 62 percent versus the prior year and doubled the adjusted EPS to $0.06. The company also entered into a new credit agreement that extends the maturity of term loan to May 2018 with lower principal and interest payments.
Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO) shares gained 5.73 percent to $17.33 in post-market trading. The publisher of "Grand Theft Auto" and other titles reported a profit in its fiscal fourth quarter, reversing a year-ago loss on Monday. The earnings stood at $22.5 million, or $0.24 per share, in the January-March period versus a loss of $66.8 million, or $0.79 per share, a year ago. Revenues rose to $299.5 million from $148.1 million reported in the same period last year. Analysts polled by FactSet, forecast EPS of $0.23 per share on revenues of $279.5 million.
Tesla Motors Inc. (NASDAQ:TLSA) shares surged 2.52 percent to $90.01 in post-market trading. The company shares surged more than 14 percent in regular trading on Monday.
Losers
SolarCity Corp. (NASDAQ:SCTY) shares plunged 11.79 percent to $31.65 in post-market trading. The company posted a loss for the first quarter, in comparison to a profit reported last year as overhead expenses masked revenue growth at the solar panel installer. SolarCity reported first quarter loss of $31 million or $0.41 per share, in comparison to a profit of $6.5 million or $0.04 per share on revenues of $30 million. Analysts estimated SolarCity to report a net loss of $0.26 per share on revenues of $29 million. The company shares gained more than 24 percent in regular trading on Monday ahead of the earnings report.
MoSys Inc. (NASDAQ:MOSY) shares lost 9.38 percent to $4.25 in post-market trading. The company announced that it intends to offer shares of its common stock in public offering and plans to use the net proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes.
Shutterfly Inc. (NASDAQ:SFLY) shares declined 2 percent to $43.10 in post-market trading. The company announced Monday that it intends to offer, subject to market conditions and other factors, $220 million aggregate principal amount of convertible senior notes due 2018 in a private offering to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933.
MannKind Corporation (NASDAQ:MNKD) shares dropped 1.52 percent to $4.53 in post-market trading. The company shares have a 52-week low of $1.57, a 52-week high of $4.74 and $1.33 billion in market capitalization.
