The top after-market NYSE gainers on Thursday are: KB Home, Lennar Corp, Phoenix Companies, Toll Brothers, Office Depot, New York Community Bancorp and Trex.
KB Home (NYSE:KBH) shares advanced 4.27 percent to $14.19 in aftermarket trading. In regular trading, the stock fell 4.22 percent to $13.61 after a Commerce Department report showed annualized new-home sales rose 5.5 percent in November to a seasonally adjusted 290,000, below the analysts’ expectations of 303,000.
Lennar Corp (NYSE:LEN) shares advanced 4.21 percent to $18.94 in the aftermarket trading session on Thursday. The stock declined 4.17 percent to $18.17 in the regular trading session following a weaker than expected report on New home sales.
Phoenix Companies, Inc (NYSE:PNX) shares advanced 3.80 percent to $2.64 in post market trading.
Toll Brothers Inc. (NYSE:TOL) shares advanced 2.75 percent to $19.93 in aftermarket trading session. In regular trading, the stock fell 2.81 percent to $19.40.
Office Depot, Inc. (NYSE:ODP) shares gained 2.57 percent to $5.45 in afterhours trading. The company shares surged 9 percent on Wednesday after the company's new change-in-control agreement with three executives fueled takeover speculation.
New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE:NYB) shares advanced 1.71 percent to $19.63 in post market trading. The stock has a 52 week low of $14.24 and 52 week high of $19.31 and has 435.61M outstanding shares.
Trex Company, Inc. (NYSE:TREX) shares advanced 1.61 percent to $23.88 in aftermarket trading. The stock has a 52 week low of $15.39 and 52 week high of $26.51 and market capitalization of 362.23 million.
